Toronto – The Electrical Safety Authority is notifying the public that Sakar International, inc has announced a voluntary recall of the following consumer product. Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately.

Name of Product: Digital Concepts Compact Travel Charger
Manufacturer/Importer: Sakar International, Inc

Hazard: The housing of the product easily comes apart and exposes the energized internal components, which can lead to electrocution/ electrical shock.

Incidents/Injuries: No Injuries reported.

Description/Models: Model #: CH-1600S & CH-1600S-RS. The affected models belong to the batch code : MID#0801110. This batch code can be seen in the product label which is the back of the product.

The product is a silver and grey color.

When was distributed: 2011

Manufactured in: China

Remedy: If you have one of these battery chargers with batch code - MID# 080110, stop using it immediately and contact Sakar International anytime at (877) 397-8200 or visit Sakar's website at www.sakar.com/recall.
