City police seeking public's help with an assault case Update

Please be advised that Steven Chaulk (pictured) has been arrested for aggravated assault and assault with a weapon in relation to a violent incident reported yesterday.

Chaulk is currently in custody and scheduled to appear in court on July 13, 2012.

The North Bay Police Service is attempting to locate Adam Martin, age 26 of North Bay for his role in the altercation. He is wanted for aggravated assault and assault with a weapon.

On 10Jul2012 a male victim attended a residence on Worthington Street East, North Bay and was confronted by a male known to him and an argument ensued.

A brief struggle occurred and the victim was cut with the sharp edged weapon, causing a large laceration. During the struggle, a second unknown male punched and kicked the victim.

The victim was able to escape and police were called.

The victim’s injuries were not life threatening.

An Arrest Warrant has been issued for, Steven Terry Chaulk, age 29, of no fixed address, for Assault with a Weapon and Aggravated Assault.

Chaulk remains at large and is considered to be armed and dangerous. Caution should be used if approached by this male. The investigation is continuing.
