News Release

The North Bay Police Service would like to remind the citizens of North Bay and Callander to use extreme caution with the increased temperatures being forecasted in the area.

Sunlight can heat car interiors to lethal temperatures in a very short amount of time and children or pets should not be left even for a brief period.

Young children and infants are much more susceptible to heat illnesses and parents should be physically inspecting their car seats, before placing children in them, to avoid injury.
