Sunridge man charged with possession of a weapon dangerous

At 9:00 pm on 30th June North Bay Police stopped to check a man who appeared to in difficulty laying down on Main St W near the Beer Store.

When the officer got out of the cruiser the man pulled a large hunting knife and threatened the officer with it.

Use of force options were deployed and he was eventually subdued with a conductive energy device.

Daniel Grahovac 44yrs of Sunridge Ontario has been charged with possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace and assault with a weapon.

He was held in custody for a bail hearing.
