Fatal collision at Murray and Copeland Update

The driver of the e-bike is identified as Daniel Collins 55yrs of North Bay.

Mr Collins was westbound on Copeland St on his e-bike when he struck the left front fender of a Ford van that was southbound on Murray St.

Cst Mark Mcleod is investigating.

A collision between a motor vehicle and an e-bike at 5:56 pm on July 1st at the intersection of Murray St and Copeland St resulted in the 55yr old male e-bike rider being taken to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

The investigation is continuing.
