High volume of illegal dumping taking place in Main St. W area

Thank you from North Bay Blooms to Union Gas volunteers for leading this week's Wednesday Night Clean Up.

Focusing on the Main St. W. area between the Humane Society and Duchesnay Creek, several old couches, mattresses, tires and broken television sets were picked up along with over twenty bags of garbage.

Likely a location of convenience, the area seems to receive a high volume of illegal dumping.

A reminder to anyone considering abandoning their garbage in the same area - fines of up to $5,000 can be charged for illegal dumping within the City.
