It’s time to get the kids outside for Camp!

Looking for outdoor activities in a natural setting for your child this summer?

Register your six to ten year old for a Summer Enviro Daycamp offered by the North Bay-Mattawa Conservation Authority at the Laurentian Escarpment Conservation Area.


Registrations are now being accepted for the Camp which runs from 10:00am - 3:00pm. Cost is $110 for the week or $26 for a day. Before and after care is also available at 8:30 am and after camp until 4:30 pm. Space is limited.


“During Enviro Camp the kids learn about mammals, amphibians, insects, soils and other elements of our natural world – information they can use in years to come,” explains Dale D’Allaire, NBMCA’s Naturalist.


Children will participate in a variety of environmentally based activities focusing on two themes which alternate weekly:


Our Natural Earth: Mammal Mania, Things with Wings, Treemendous Trees, Dragonfly Tales, and Wondrous Water.


The World Outside: Let’s Rock and Roll, Tread a Little Softer, NBMCA CSI, Weatherology and Survival Day.
