First of four ARC meetings goes tonight at Silver Birches Public School

The Near North District School Board is embarking on an accommodation review process (ARC) for schools to be reviewed for consolidation.

The first ARC process will involve the West Ferris area family of schools and include West Ferris Secondary School, Silver Birches Public School, Ferris Glen Public School, Marshall Park Public School, Sunset Park Public School and Tweedsmuir Public School.

Public input is being sought to review the preferred option and gather other ideas for consideration.

The first of four public consultation meetings will take place tomorrow, Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at Silver Birches Public School on 65 Marshall Avenue, North Bay, at 6:30 p.m.

Daycare is available at Marshall Park Public School, 4 Marshall Park Drive, starting at 6:15 p.m.

The following three meeting dates will be announced at a later date.
