Summer is just around the corner and the Capitol Centre is gearing up for another fun-filled summer day camp! This year we’re calling our program the Summer Arts Adventure Camp sponsored by the Ladies of the Royal Purple Branch 70. This is a great opportunity for children ages 6-12 to experience and participate in different art forms while meeting new people!

Our new and improved Summer Arts Adventure Camp has four available sessions: July 2-6, July 9-20, July 23- August 3, and August 13-17. One week sessions are priced at $150/child, and two week sessions are $300/child. We also offer an additional sibling discount of $250 on the two week sessions only. This year we are very excited to introduce our Flex Pass! For $180 the flex pass provides the option to attend camp without a full session commitment. Half day passes are available in a 10 pack, or full day passes in 5 packs. Children can then use these passes throughout the summer as best suits the family. This way your child will benefit from the fun experience of summer camp without having to miss out on holidays or other activities throughout the summer!

Children will be performing in a talent variety show to showcase their own unique skills and talents. Throughout the session, children will have an opportunity to participate in different workshops and activities focused on the arts, such as: comedy, singing, dancing, magic, etc. Our hope is that with these workshops, children can build on skills they wish to perform during the final showcase. This year we will also be focusing on a fun-filled downtown experience. This means children will have the opportunity to venture on different outings within the community. Carousal rides, trips to Discovery North, scavenger hunts, and more will be happening throughout the summer. As well, the Summer Arts Adventure Camp will be having fun daily activities like Olympic Day, Minute to Win It activities, Wet and Wild games, and much, much more!

The Summer Arts Adventure Camp runs Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm with the availability of an early drop-off and late pick-up at a charge of $2.00 daily. Our highly skilled and energetic staff are excited to start the summer off with a bang! Don’t let your children miss out on all the fun—register now!
