The Gateway Theatre Guild and Dreamcoat Fantasy Theatre troupes kicked off their fundraising efforts for the Relay For Life doing what they do best entertaining a crowd.

The non-profit organizations have pooled their talents and efforts together to create a big Relay team for the all night event that goes June 22nd at Wing 22 CFB North Bay.

Before preforming their family number pediatrician Dr. Mary Grise told the audience that over the last two months four children in North Bay had been diagnosed with cancer and that is why her family was there.

Both organizations say they have members who know all too well the effects cancer can have on a person and a community and it is the pain that drives them to help.

To support their efforts you can make a donation to individual team members or go online to Torches For Life on the Cancer Society’s Relay homepage: Here
