Vested Interest will vacate their retail space at 123 McIntyre Street West this week in order for the rebuilding renovations to begin.
On Tuesday January 3rd fire ripped through the adjoining business Lefebvre's Source for Adventure at 122 Main St. W. destroying the heritage building and taking the whole sale section on Vested Interest with it and leaving the retail space in ruins.
For hours in frigid temperatures without skipping a beat North Bay Firefighters battled the stubborn blaze doing what they could to save the building.
Since that fateful night VI owners Jennifer and Brent Bywater have been working to secure a temporary location and hosting a fire sale.
Tonight they will thank the firefighters by hosting a silent/live auction event to help raise money for the firefighter’s charity of choice Victim Services of Nipissing District.
