Health Unit lifts recreational water restrictions Silver Lady Lane

The Health Unit is removing restrictions for recreational water use around the Silver Lady Lane area. Lab results have come in showing acceptable conditions for normal use.

This means that all of Trout Lake can now be used for swimming and other water sports.

All residents of Silver Lady Lane will have their private water systems tested before the Health Unit makes the decision to lift their drinking water restrictions.

Until this occurs, the Health Unit reminds residents of Silver Lady Lane who use private water systems:

 Do not use the water for drinking, cooking, washing fruits and vegetables, or brushing teeth

 Do not use water near the affected area for pets or livestock
