North Bay OPP advise motorists that as of 4:30am Hwy 17 between Gormanville Road and Main Street is closed due to the Union Gas pumping station beside Hwy 17, across from NBRHC on fire.
The Hwy is closed for public safety while fire in high pressure gas lines is put out.
A detour is available using Hwy 17B.
