OPP identify tanker driver involved in Hwy 63 MVC

The driver of the tanker trailer involved in the earlier collision on Highway # 63 within the Municipality of North Bay has been pronounced dead at the North Bay Regional Health Centre.

The driver is identified as 54 year old Jocelyn LAHAIE (male) from Lavaltrie Quebec.

Highway # 63 near Silver Lady Lane remains closed at this time, but a detour has been established using Four Mile Lake Rd.

An update will be provided once more information is known concerning the opening of the highway, however it is anticipated that clean up efforts may continue into tomorrow resulting in the highway remaining closed until that time.
