The Board of Directors of the North Bay Regional Health Centre introduced the new president and CEO Paul Heinrich.
Heinrich is no stranger to the area as he grew up in Burks Falls and is a graduate of Nipissing University.
He will assume the role of President and CEO effective August 27, 2012.
Heinrich leaves his CEO post at Georgian Bay General Hospital to join the North Bay team.
"His strong leadership skills, demonstrated experience as a hospital CEO, and a vision that aligns with our philosophy will help NBRHC continue to be an efficient and effective organization that keeps its focus on patient-centred care,” said NBRHC Board Chair, Phil Geden.
