Constable Shawn Fougère and Canine Handler, PC Rob Mondor and his dogs paid a special visit to Phelps Central Public School Monday morning to help kick off Police Week.
Fougère, who just completed the DARE Program with the grade 5 students, says holding special workshops like the canine presentation reconfirms that police officers are not just 'The Man' but they are part of the community as well.
