Canadore continues to evolve to align with its core values: student success, program and service excellence, community connection, sustainability and innovation.

“Our mandate is to produce skilled and knowledgeable graduates to meet the changing face of the marketplace,” said Canadore College President George Burton. “It is essential that we adopt proactive support models to meet the needs of our students.”

Canadore’s program delivery for the Fall 2012 semester remains unaffected and the College will be launching a renewed service delivery model in August.

The new structure will better meet students’ needs in areas such as financial aid, admissions and mental health by creating more robust service delivery standards and frameworks.

The organizational changes will result in six support staff, five academic and two administrative employees leaving Canadore over the next three months.

“We always strive to be the best in all that we do,” said Burton “We are introducing this model so that we can better respond to our students’ needs and promote their success.”

Canadore is committed to student success, program and service excellence, community connection, sustainability and innovation.
