Purse snatching suspect charged with theft

At 11:00 PM 05May a purse and a cell phone were stolen from a vehicle parked on Rancier St.

At 11:55 PM the suspect was arrested on Gould St near Stockdale Av.

Tyler Straughan 28yrs of no fixed address has been charged with theft, trespass by night, and breach of probation.

The purse and some of the contents are still outstanding and may have been discarded somewhere between Rancier and Stockdale.
