Area agencies receive one time Supportive Housing grants

QUEEN’S PARK – A number of health care providers in Nipissing have received one-time funding through the Supportive Housing Program, MPP Vic Fedeli announced Wednesday.

The grants are as follows:


$31,100 for Nipissing Mental Health Housing and Support Services;


$ 7,400 for North Bay Recovery Home; and


$ 2,700 for Canadian Mental Health Association – Nipissing Regional Branch

The money is for 2011-12 replacement reserve operating costs.

“I’m pleased to be able to announce these grants as supportive housing plays such a vital role in the overall provision of health care services in Nipissing,”
Fedeli said.
