SJSH set to host pre-Sears Festival dinner theatre fundraiser

St. Joseph-Scollard Hall Catholic Secondary School is hosting a dinner theatre evening on April 12.

The event begins with a spaghetti dinner at 5 p.m., followed by performances of both of the school’s Sears Drama Festival entries at 7 p.m.

All funds raised will help cover the cost of Bear Stage’s production of both plays.

5pm Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser (SJSH Cafeteria)

7pm Model Planes and Toy Blocks (Bishop Carter Auditorium) Written and directed by Grade 12 SJSH student Amy Power

8pm The Evolution of Truth (Bishop Carter Auditorium)
Written by SJSH teacher Mary Rodgers, directed by Grade 12 SJSH student Jessica Morowski

Tickets (available in advance at SJSH front office or at the doors on event night):

$10 Dinner & Theatre
$5 Theatre only

The North Bay District Sears Drama Festival takes place from April 18-21 at West Ferris Secondary School.

The Regional Sears Drama Festival runs April 26-28 at St. Joseph-Scollard Hall Catholic Secondary School.

The Provincial Showcase takes place from May 9-12 at The North Bay Capitol Centre.
