North Bay Rockers sweep up with help from CLNB Outcomes Fund

Community Living North Bay is an organization that supports over five hundred people with intellectual disabilities in the North Bay and surrounding area.

Community Living North Bay envisions a community where all citizens thrive, are respected and valued.

There are many initiatives driven by Community Living North Bay that support the growth and inclusion of all people.

The Community Living North Bay Outcomes Fund was created to assist people receiving supports and services from Community Living North Bay to attain personal goals and dreams.

The overall objective of creating this program is to try to overcome the financial barrier of achieving these life goals.

Recently, the Community Living North Bay Outcomes Fund sponsored the North Bay Special Olympics Curling team “The North Bay Rockers”.

The Outcomes Fund sponsorship went towards purchasing commemorative curling brooms for the Rockers to use during the 2012 Special Olympics National Winter Games.

Using their new brooms, the Rockers were able to claim fourth place in St. Albert, Alberta at the National games.

Community Living North Bay’s Outcome Fund has supported many people to reach milestones and accomplish goals they never thought were possible.

Community Living North Bay is dedicated to supporting people’s dreams.
