City Hall is conducting a multi-use recreation feasibility study

The City of North Bay is preparing a Multi-Use Recreational Facility (MURF) Feasibility Study to assess the need for and feasibility of renovating, replacing, and/or constructing indoor recreation facilities.

Specifically, this project will consider improvements to Memorial Gardens Arena, Pete Palangio Arena, and West Ferris Community Centre. In addition, the demand for other facilities such as additional arenas, indoor turf facilities, walking/jogging tracks, and other multi-use spaces will be assessed.

The City wishes to advise that as part of the public consultation process you may be contacted for a household telephone survey during the months of March and April 2012. The survey will be performed by Monteith Brown Consultants.
