The North Bay Food Bank is a valuable community organization that serves our most vulnerable members of our community. Our community has strongly supported this organization since its inception in 1987.

The Food Bank held its Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, March 6th, 2012.

At this meeting, 50 members attended to show their support.

Elections for the Board were held and those elected included, Ted Hargreaves, Dick Dinnes, John Cutsey, Katharine Strang, Marty Martinello, Bob Hudson, and Garth Goodhew.

“I would like to thank these community leaders for stepping up to serve as Directors of this important organization here in North Bay,” stated Mayor Al McDonald.

”Our Food Bank will be well served by these respected individuals and I have full confidence in their abilities. The Food Bank has been part of our community for the past 25 years providing support to our most vulnerable members of our community. It is very positive news to have this high calibre of individuals willing to volunteer.”

The Food Bank serves thousands of individuals here in our community on a yearly basis. They do so in a caring fashion. The City of North Bay and its citizens have shown their overwhelming support, and we recognize that the Food Bank plays a very important role in our city.
