Highway 17 Pembroke and Mattawa closed Update

OPP advise that as of 6:53 am Highway 17 has reopened. ***** Upper Ottawa Valley and Renfrew OPP advise that as of 8:20pm Highway 17 in both directions between Highway 41 Pembroke and Mattawa is closed due to severe winter weather.

Upper Ottawa Valley and Renfrew OPP advise that as of 8:20pm Highway 17 in both directions between Highway 41 Pembroke and Mattawa is closed due to severe winter weather.

At this time a detour is set up at highway 60 through Algonquin Park.

Estimated duration of the closure is several hours.
