Canadore College is pleased to announce that its new Environmental Management program has been approved by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities for delivery in the Fall 2012 semester.

Environmental Management is a one-year Ontario College Graduate Certificate program that will provide students with advanced training in specialized environmental auditing, analysis and techniques. Graduates will become skilled in field sampling, drinking water testing and treatment, GPS and GIS training and applied geomatics.

“We are excited to start the new year by announcing the approval of this certificate,” said Dr. Marguerite Donohue, Vice-President Academic.

“Canadore continues to be committed to innovation and sustainability. Our expert faculty are educating the next wave of graduates who will make a difference around the globe.”

Canadore continues to actively develop programming that reflects marketplace needs regionally, provincially and globally. The College is awaiting funding approval from the MTCU for its Digital Cinematography Ontario College Advanced Diploma and Occupational Therapist Assistant/Physiotherapist Assistant Ontario College Diploma, as well as a First Nations Child Welfare Advocate Ontario College Graduate Certificate to be delivered in partnership with the Anishinabek Educational Institute (AEI).
