MPP sends out call for volunteer service award nominees

Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli is asking constituents to consider nominating worthy individuals in our riding for the 2012 provincial Volunteer Service Awards.

Since its inception in 1986, over 150,000 dedicated volunteers have been recognized through this program across Ontario. In 2012, a total of 47 ceremonies will be held in 35 communities across the province, recognizing thousands of volunteers. The North Bay ceremony will be held May 25.

The deadline for nominations is January 25 of each year. Any nominations received after the deadline will be considered for the following year.
