City police seeking help with Lakeshore convenience store robbery

At 4:43 this morning the convenience store at Lakeshore Dr at Gertrude St was robbed of an undisclosed amount of cash.

A man wearing a black balaclava entered the store with a tire iron and demanded money. He received some money then fled, turning left as he exited the store.

He is described as; male, non white, 5’9” to 5’10” 180lbs, wearing a dark brown jacket, blue jeans and dark gloves.

Cst Geoff Whittle is investigating.
