Member of Parliament Jay Aspin accepts the signed ‘White Ribbons Against Pornography’ from the local Catholic Women's League of Canada Friday.

Continuing their effort to eliminate pornography the North Bay Region of the Catholic Women's League of Canada concluded their annual ‘White Ribbons Against Pornography’ (WRAP) Campaign Friday by presenting white ribbons and petitions with 1,200 signatures to Member of Parliament Jay Aspin Friday.

Spokeswoman Giselle Floyd says the White Ribbon Campaign is an effort to expose the physical and emotional damage children suffer through sexual exploitation.

She says the CWL want to see the government to institute harsher penalties for people who are convicted of this terrible act.
