Five St. Joseph-Scollard-Hall Catholic Secondary School Grade 12 students have claimed some of the top prizes in the North Bay Legion Branch 23 Poster Literary Contest.

Senior Level Poster Category, Black and White:
1st place - Sieglinde Busch
2nd place - Diana Manella

Senior Level Poster Category, Colour:
1st place - Kathleen Trozzo
2nd place - Morgan Monk
3rd place - Janica Vossos

“We thank these thoughtful students for remembering our comrades who fought for the freedom we enjoy today, “ said Linda Thompson, Youth Education Officer, North Bay Legion Branch 23.

“These works of art exemplify the tremendous amount of respect and admiration our students have for Canada’s great veterans,” said Anna Marie Bitonti, Director of Education. “Expressing our gratitude to our veterans through the arts is a powerful way to recognize their significant contributions to our country and the freedom we enjoy today.”
