The PADDLE PROGRAM launched a new initiative today, thanks to a $79,200 grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF). MPP for the Nipissing Riding, Mr. Vic Fedeli joined OTF Grant Review Team member Mary-Lou Arrowsmith in congratulating the PADDLE PROGRAM at the launch ceremony.

QUOTES

“Programs like PADDLE, that support people with disabilities to meaningfully contribute and participate in public life, are vital for the overall success of our community. I am proud that the Ontario Trillium Foundation is supporting this program and making a grant to strengthen our community.”
Vic Fedeli, MPP for Nipissing

“We’ve used this grant to hire a Fundraising Coordinator and a Community Placement Coordinator. The Fundraising Coordinator will be a point person to expand and create new
fundraising initiatives that will maintain and strengthen PADDLE’s financial sustainability. The Community Placement Coordinator will be seeking out individualized or group, volunteer, training or employment opportunities for participants of the PADDLE Program. PADDLE wishes to thank the Ontario Trillium Foundation for their generosity and their willingness to improve the quality of life for individuals with developmental and physical challenges in our community.”
Megan Johnson, Program Coordinator, PADDLE Program
