WHAT: PADDLE (Providing Adults with Developmental Disabilities Lifelong Experiences) has made it to the Semi-Finals in the AVIVA Community Fund competition. We need community support and VOTES to make it to the finals.

WHO: PADDLE is a not for profit organization that provides adults with special needs opportunities and choices in learning experiences & community involvement. Participants of PADDLE include individuals who have developmental disabilities, are no longer able to attend school due to their age, want to participate in a community-based program and wish to continue their education in a program that will account for their needs and interests. When a child with special needs becomes an adult (21), many of the services and supports available to them stop.

PADDLE is one of the few programs in our community which offers adults with developmental disabilities continued support & choices to enhance their quality of life. PADDLE allows North Bay to identify itself as an inclusive, caring community.
