The AIDS Committee of North Bay & Area (ACNBA) will be on site at the Telus Mobility store in Northgate Shopping Centre this Saturday selling Telus’ plush, mascot Saw Whet Owls.

All money raised through this unique Christmas gift shopping opportunity will be going to ACNBA’s client services fund.

ACNBA-Telus Saw Whet Owl Fundraiser

WHERE: Telus Mobility Corporate Store, Northgate Shopping Centre 1500 Fisher St. North Bay

WHEN: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm December 3rd, 2011

The cute, plush Saw Whet Owls will be available at the ACNBA booth for $7.50 each or two for $14.00 plus HST.

Telus Mobility store spokesperson, Emmett McAlear says the fundraising collaboration with ACNBA provides an
opportunity to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis C while placing Telus’ corporate support behind one of North Bay’s charitable organizations.

He adds Telus will also be matching any donations received by ACNBA at the day’s event.

ACNBA staff and volunteers will be on hand Saturday, December 3rd, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm looking to sell at
least 200 of the owls which will be available until the end of December.
