Power outages close a number of Near North schools

The Near North District School Board wishes to advise that the following schools are closed for the day today due to power outages:

Almaguin Highlands Secondary School, South River

Evergreen Heights Education Centre, Emsdale

Land of Lakes Public School, Burk’s Falls

M.A. Wittick, Burk’s Falls

Magnetawan Central School, Magnetawan Sundridge

Centennial, Sundridge

Power is expected to be restored by the end of the day today.
