Our Lady of Fatima School is one of only 22 elementary and secondary schools across Ontario to receive the 2011 Dr. Bette M. Stephenson Recognition of Achievement. This recognition program, established by the EQAO in 2009 as a tribute to Dr. Stephenson’s lifelong commitment to education and public service, honours schools for their efforts over many years at improving student achievement and for their use of EQAO results as a way to improve student learning.

“Together with the EQAO, the Nipissing-Parry Sound Catholic District School Board wishes to acknowledge
Our Lady of Fatima’s outstanding leadership, commitment, positive attitude and sincere effort to help every
child succeed and reach their full potential,” said Anna Marie Bitonti, Director of Education.
