The Kiwanis Club of Nipissing will be hosting a "Classical Christmas" dinner at the Clarion Pinewood Resort, Thursday, November 24th featuring a number of outstanding local classical musicians.
Doreen Bryer will be playing the harp to open the evening, followed by Tomasz and Regina Milczarek playing flute and violin , Jennifer Baxter will then be completing the evening with several pieces on piano. An outstanding six course meal will be served in between musical sessions and all proceeds from the evening will be in support of Kiwanis projects in our community.
Lachlan McLachlan will be hosting an auction with items such as a "snowshoeing, chili & fondue dinner party for 8, Air Canada tickets within North America for 2, a scotch tasting dinner for two and various pieces of artwork.
The evening will also be celebrating the arrival of the Kiwanis canoe book "Northern Shores" planned to go on sale for the holidays in support of One Kids Place Children's Treatment Centre for Northeastern Ontario.
