Sunset Park Public School has just submitted an idea to the Aviva Community Fund, a competition that makes funds available of up to $1,000,000 to create positive change in communities across Canada.

You can read about our project here:

Our school needs North Bay’s help!
Our current playground is barren, dusty, hot, boring and not meeting the needs of our students! We have an idea! Our idea includes, but is not limited to planting mature shade trees to provide protection from UVA/UVB rays, sod the barren playground so that the children do not have to play in dusty air, install permanent soccer posts so that the students’ love of soccer can be fulfilled and create an outdoor classroom and outdoor learning locations so that learning science concepts can take place in a meaningful and relevant setting.

You can make this dream become a reality by voting for our project.

Our project is called: ROYAL PLAYGROUND IMPROVEMENT

WE NEED VOTES!!!!
