Veterans to talk about their Vietnam and Afghanistan missions

Nipissing University is pleased to welcome retired United States Army Colonel David W. Taylor to campus for a special presentation with retired Canadian Army Corporal Jeffery Lehoux on November 2, from 3:30 – 5 p.m. in room A137.

The presentation features Colonel Taylor, a decorated veteran of the Vietnam war, and Corporal Lehoux, a veteran of the Afghanistan mission, discussing their respective conflict experiences.

Colonel Taylor will also present a series of lectures to students in Dr. Stephen Connor’s first-year and fourth-year history courses. He will also be discussing his recent book *Our War: The History and Sacrifices of an Infantry Battalion in the Vietnam War, 1968-1971 *at Gulliver's Bookstore in North Bay on November 2 at 7:30 p.m.

This event is presented by the Nipissing University History Club.
