Youth help build a strong foundation

The best houses are built on the strongest foundations and the youth of today are tomorrow’s foundation. In order for them to be that strong foundation we need to support and encourage them to become dynamic, vital and industrious members of society.

Each year the Rotary Club of North Bay-Nipissing recognizes members of the community who exemplify the philosophy of “service above self”. This year we are once again focusing on the youth of our community and we would like to ask your help in finding and nominating these dedicated individuals.

The ideal candidate would:
• Be under the age of 30

• Promote and live the philosophy of “service above self”

• Currently involved in the community at a local and/or international level

• Not usually recognized in a public forum

To nominate a youth for this honour please forward the following to [email protected]:

• Their name and contact information

• A letter of support as to why you feel they should receive this honour

• Your name and contact information

The deadline for nominations is October 15, 2011.

The successful candidate(s) will be recognized as Paul Harris Fellows at our annual Foundation dinner Thursday November 17, 2010. They will receive a plaque and a donation will be made in their name to the Rotary Foundation.
