Police seeking help with suspicious activity in the city

On Thurs afternoon an unknown male attended a Nancy Dr residence claiming to be checking hot water tanks in the area. He advised that the landlord had already been notified and the resident subsequently allowed him into the house to check the serial number. After he left it was determined that the landlord knew nothing about this person.

It is believed that this person went to several other homes in the area as well. He is described as; white, under 6ft, early 30’s, skinny, dirty short brown hair, wearing a dark jacket, plaid shirt, and slush pants. He was carrying a leather binder that contained several pieces of paper with addresses and phone numbers on it.

The North Bay Police request that anyone that saw or had any interaction with this person contact our station duty officer at 705-497 -5589.
