On Tuesday, September 27th, over 200 elementary and secondary students from the Near North District School Board will travel to the Air Canada Centre in Toronto to participate in the exciting and innovative “We Day,” a youth event aimed at creating global change.
More than 20,000 participants from across Canada will participate in the “We Day” event, taking part in performances and inspirational presentations by leading activists, speakers and musicians.
Participating schools are: Alliance French Immersion Public School Almaguin Highlands Secondary School Chippewa Intermediate/Secondary School E.T. Carmichael Public School F.J. McElligott Secondary School Marshall Park Public School Mattawa District Public School Northern Secondary School Phelps Central School W.J. Fricker Public School West Ferris Secondary School Widdifield Secondary School
