Police seeking help to locate young offender runaway Update

The North Bay Police Service is advising the public that the male young offender who ran away from the Nipissing Detention Centre on Pinewood Park Drive was apprehended by North Bay Police officers at approximately 10:15 am this morning in the Callander area.

The North Bay Police Service also want to thank all those who called to report seeing a male matching the description, walking around in Callander, which in turn led to the arrest of this individual.

The North Bay Police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating a 17yr old male young offender who ran away from the Nipissing Detention Centre on Pinewood Park Dr at 8:00PM 14th Sept.

He was only wearing grey plaid pyjamas, a blue bathrobe and socks. With the weather turning colder the North Bay Police are concerned for his welfare.

He is described as: 5’6” 135 lbs, with a shaved brown hair, and brown eyes. He was last seen just after midnight in the north end of Callander near Main St N.

Anyone who has any information about this youth is asked to contact their local police agency.
