Can you handle crisis situations? Do you enjoy helping others? Would you like to gain a sense of satisfaction and achievement?

Victim Service volunteers are a skillful group of carefully selected and screened community volunteers who assist police, fire and other emergency services to provide much needed support to victims of crime and tragedy in North Bay, Mattawa and Sturgeon Falls. Learn communication skills in crisis and how to support victims of many types of crime, the remedies and community resources available to them.

Volunteering allows you to build new skills, increase self-esteem and explore new career options. Join our team and gain the experience of a lifetime. We provide 40 hours of training and personal development. Mature individuals, First Nations and those with language fluency other than English are especially encouraged to apply.
