Timmins man charged in child pornography investigation

TIMMINS - Members of the Ontario Provincial Police Child Sexual Exploitation Section (Project “P”), Electronic Crime Section and Timmins PS have arrested and charged a Timmins man following an on-line undercover child pornography investigation.

On August 16, 2011 police executed a search warrant at a Timmins residence. As a result of this investigation, two computers were seized which contain images of child sexual abuse.

On August 16, 2011 police arrested 40 year-old Gilles BOILEAU, of Timmins, Ontario. He is charged with two counts of Possession of Child Pornography, two counts of Accessing Child Pornography and two counts of Make Available Child Pornography.

BOILEAU will appear for a bail hearing on August 17, 2011 in the Ontario Court of Justice in Timmins, Ontario.

The investigation is continuing.
