Magnetawan – The Almaguin  Highlands Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police and the Office of the Ontario Fire Marshall continue their investigation into the cause of the fire that destroyed two local businesses and caused over one million dollars in property damage.

The cause of the fire has not been determined though it is clear that the fire started outside in the rear of the General Store.
