With just days to go before the ‘Summer in the Park’ festival officially gets under way committee members held a news conference today to bring folks up to speed and highlight the events that are scheduled.

New this year in the park is Rotary Bingo. The Rotary team is moving out of the Cogeco studio on Fee Street and setting up for their Sunday night game in the Lee Park at conclusion of the Country Open. The game will be broadcast live so folks can still play along at home, however Bingo Committee Chair Dave Saad says everyone is welcome to come down and play in the park. Game cards are available at all the regular outlets with a prize board of $5,500 up for grabs.
