"It’s all in a day’s work," says Kathy Jeanneault, Founder of All Heart Pet Rescue.

"Today we adopted out a dog that came from a pound in Windsor, we had a dog abandoned in one of our kennels without any information or name, we took in a Jack Russell Terrier that was running the streets of Matheson and his time was up with Animal Control there, donations of towels and goodies from the North Bay YMCA delivered,” she says reviewing the events like checking off a grocery list.

“And we received an updated story from a woman that adopted a dog from us 15 years ago, the dog still alive and doing well."

"Phew! I just never know what each day is going to bring to me."

She says with the right attitude and great support from volunteers she is able to get the tasks at hand handled, “With love and daily commitment.”

“15 years later (I’m still) in rescue and (I’m) still going strong."

Jeanneault is alerting the public now that she will be out of commission at the end of November for at least 2 months following back surgery.

"I'll be good as new again, ready to set my goals higher and keep going."

There will be an Open House every Sunday until November in order to allow people an opportunity to view the animals up for adoption from 12-3 at 430 Oakwood Rd.
