City man charged with assault

At 2:00AM July 12th a man became upset with another resident at a Regina street premises. He struck the resident with a stick numerous times over the head and arms.

Upon arrival of police the man resisted arrest and tried to kick and strike the officer.

Pierre Renaud 57yrs was charged with Assault with a Weapon and Assault resist arrest. He was held in custody for a bail hearing.
