Woman suffers life threatening injuries in motorcycle collision

On Wednesday, June 22, 2011 shortly before 8 p.m.,
North Bay Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single motorcycle collision on Highway 11 north of North Bay, Ontario.

North Bay Ambulance Service, North Bay Fire Department and officers with the Technical Traffic Collision Investigation unit also attended and assisted.

The driver, May DEMERS, 57 years old of Cochrane, Ontario was travelling south on Highway 11 when she lost control of her motorcycle. DEMERS suffered life threatening injuries and was transported by ambulance to the North Bay Regional Health Centre.

Investigation is ongoing.
