Stop by the Ride for Dad charity BBQ today

The Nipissing Motorcycle Ride for Dad is having a fundraising BBQ at Mark’s Work Wearhouse on McKeown Avenue from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm today (June 16, 2011).

As well, the annual charity ride to raise money for Prostate Cancer research and awareness is Saturday June 18th. Registration takes place from 8:00 am until 10:00 am in the Canadian Tire parking lot. At 1030 am the North Bay Police will escort the motorcycle parade to Gormanville Road, down Main Street West, through downtown North Bay, to Judge Avenue, to Memorial Drive and end at the Waterfront Marina, where the first card for the poker run will be handed out. The public is urged to come out and see the motorcycles at Canadian Tire or along the parade route.

There is a pre-registration on Friday June 17th from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm, riders and ride champions are urged to pre-register as the first 250 registrants receive a free meal at the end of Saturday’s ride. Members of the public can also attend any registration times to make a pledge or buy a souvenir.
