On the 19th June the North Bay Police were notified by the OPP that the body of Micheline Bethune was located with her vehicle in a bush area outside the city.

No foul play is suspected.

The North Bay Police would like to thank the public for their assistance in this investigation.

The bring Bring Micheline Bethune Home Facebook group is reporting that Bethune’s body has been located.

The administrator writes:

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for your amazing efforts, your well wishes and your untiring dedication to bringing Micheline home. It is with great sorrow that I must announce that Micheline has been found – Sadly not safe and sound.

It is asked that at this difficult time that everyone refrain from contacting the family and allow them to grieve privately. When information becomes available – I will notify the group as to the arranges being made.

Thank you again for your support – the family is grateful for all of you love. R.I.P. Mich xo."

North Bay Police are still looking for the public’s assistance in locating missing person Micheline Bethune. An updated description is that she was last seen wearing black yoga pants, and a light pink hoodie. Her hair is described as being reddish brown in a “bob” style hair cut.

Earlier North Bay Police release information that Bethune, 38, was last seen Monday, June 13th driving her vehicle from her residence at about 3:00pm.

Bethune is also described as 5 feet 5 inches tall, 115pounds, thin build.

Her vehicle is a 2-door 1998 black Honda Civic with the license plate# ABPW871.
